‘Tuck Everlasting’ postpones Colonial run

BOSTON — The world premiere production of the new musical “Tuck Everlasting,” scheduled to play Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) from July 28-August 18, 2013, has been postponed due to a lack of theatre availability for its planned subsequent production in New York.
Future plans for the production will be announced at a later date.
With a book by Tony Award® nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde), music by Chris Miller (The Burnt Part Boys), lyrics by Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys) and directed and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon), “Tuck Everlasting” is based on the award-winning novel by Natalie Babbitt.
Patrons who have purchased tickets for the show’s engagement in Boston should contact their point of sale for refunds. Broadway In Boston subscribers, members and groups will be contacted directly.
